72nana-tsu (Nanatsu) is a Kyushu pin badge that incorporates traditional Kyushu textiles to stylishly adorn your collar. Each piece of Kyushu metal is polished by skilled craftsmen, and each Kyushu textile is a unique item sourced directly from the weavers. It looks great on the lapel of a man's suit, and also looks lovely when layered on a woman's bag or hat.

Did you know?

The traditional dyed and woven textile industry has been greatly affected by the recent decline in kimono wearing, and is experiencing a steady decline in both sales and production, as well as a serious problem of a lack of successors. At ITOHEN, we developed this product in order to find new value in these traditional dyed and woven textiles. It is very important to hear directly from the weavers. Although traditional dyed and woven textiles are facing serious problems due to the decline in kimono wearing and the lack of successors, everyone is working hard to preserve and pass on these good things that will be cherished for generations. We create our products with the hope of supporting their efforts in some small way. The accessories are made by mothers living in Kitakyushu City, and each one is handcrafted with love, making each product a unique, one-of-a-kind item.

[Achievements] Winner of the Silver Prize at the 21st Fukuoka Design Awards. Featured extensively in television and newspapers, and achieved daily sales of 100 units at Tokyu Hands Hakata.
